Great idea! We do that in our bathroom. Each sink has four lights over it, so we simply loosen (until it goes out) all but one of the bulbs. Then when that bulb burns out, we just tighten another until it comes on. During the day, we don’t have to use lights at all because we’re lucky enough to have lots of windows and a southern exposure.

And, by the way, I wish someone could explain to me why Blue Cross Blue Shield is considered a “non-profit.” Talk about a misnomer…

I feel so fortunate to have had parents who grew up during the Depression, so recycling and wise use of resources was a way of life for us. I do stop short of washing and re-using aluminum foil, as my mama did, but I recycle it.

Sixty-two weeks with one car! Yay for you and your husband—that’s really wonderful! Here’s hoping the city of Asheville will see fit to build more sidewalks and bike lanes someday to make it safer for those who choose foot and pedal power.

Tilly was a white 1964 Mercury Comet, but I don’t think Robin Williams drove her. I believe she was parked in front of a cabin that they visited. I’ve never met any really famous musicians, aside from a couple of members of The Trainwreks.

Wow, that is so cool about Tilly being in Patch Adams! What kind of car was she? Did Robin Williams drive her?

I don’t know if I could think of 10 Fun Facts. Let’s see…ummm…I met Leo Kottke in a bar once and he was really, really nice. I felt pretty shy, but I got to ask him what kind of music he listens to, which was cool.
